: This is Bandit, an 8yo spayed female we picked up in the Detroit area yesterday. Her parents are moving into a condo and couldn't take her along. When they contacted me last week about taking her I asked that they have a fecal done to check for parasites. When we picked her up yesterday and they gave me all her personal *stuff* I noticed that they had had a complete blood chemistry done and a nail trimming too!! Total vet bill....$152. They also gave me transportation costs and a generous donation to NIAD. The husband was really choked up...I felt bad for him. Anyway.....she seems very healthy, physically sound except for some missing spikes. She tolerated the 2 hour drive home very well, and investigated most of the house when we arrived home. Only at 11pm last night did she show some signs of stress when she didn't want me messing with her to move her off of Ziggy's sleeping spot. I hope I can find a really nice home for this girl.

: This couple also gave us a very nice custom enclosure, nicely equipped, 5Lx3Hx3D. Not suitable for an iguana but I think I know someone that could use it for a good sized Burmese Python. LOL Most of you know who I'm talking about....
