Don't worry about the water thing... I've rarely seen any of my igs drink. Water should be made available but they get most of the water from their veggies and fruit.

As far as eating schedules-- I don't know how to change that or if it is a real problem. Mine have always eaten first thing in the morning and at dinnertime both (sometimes an afternoon helping too). You might want to try hand feeding a bit in the morning-- like some favorite fruit or veggie to encourage eating earlier. But if he absolutely refuses to eat until later-- you kinda have to go with the flow I suppose. My friend's ig switched to evening only eating for awhile, but when I watched her for a week, she ate during the day for me and I had her potty trained again (she fell out of training for several months). Well they were plenty grateful for the potty thing anyway. My point is that she did switch back to mornings and evenings when she felt like it.
