I had to laugh at your story Jamie about calling the vet and asking if you need to make the iguana vomit up the worms. LMAO
A friend of ours had placed one of her smaller male iguanas in with a couple of females (larger). She went in to feed them one morning and saw some blood. Thinking one of the iguanas ripped a toe nail, she started checking all of the feet. Lo and behold, one of the females and chomped off one of the smaller male's foot! She grabbed the male, put him in a carrier, grabbed a ziplock, filled it with ice and put his *hand* into the bag and rushed to the vet. The vet said he could close up the wound alright. He looked at the *hand* in the ziplock and said to her, "I'm good, but not that good." LOL
Bottom line is, things happen (protien pellets and worms get eaten and seemily happy iguanas will mangle each other). You can't undo what has happened, but you learn from it.
Sue2 (Yes, the little 3 handed ig is doing just great and is no longer with his evil stepsisters)
