The innuendo to which you refer can be explained like this:
There are many, many intelligent people here (ig-wise and otherwise). If you, or anyone else, is determined to be difficult or disrespectful, most of us will simply answer your questions. Period.

If you conduct yourself in a manner which elicits the respect of others and show that you have a genuine interest in iguana husbandry, you will find a wellspring of information on this forum from which to draw. Most of us are delighted to share our experiences with those so inclined.

There is a vast chasm between information/advise and experience.

I hope this addresses your concerns. If not, please email me and we will handle this on a personal level. All you need do is ask for my address. I do not wish to engage in childish debates on this forum. We are sick of fakes, fables and flaming.
