Ive read 86 degrees...which would be more like tepid but Ive bathed mine in lukewarm water w/ not much prob. Fill it to shoulder high...he should be able to stand on his front legs and keep his head above water! Have the tub ready to go...running water from the spout with him in tub will scare him ... cool quiet calm....If this is his first bath...he may get weird...so expect to wrestle with him a bit till he gets used to it.....keep a large towel handy! May have to soak him towel & all until he settles.
