There are a couple of us here that let our kids swim in our pools. My vet ok'd it as long as the chlorine level is down low and it's not for extended times. There are also non-chlorine substances you can use for pool sanitation. There was a long discussion on the IML not too long ago about whether igs absorb moisture through their skin and I think the concensus was that they do not, but I'd have to search the archives to say for sure.......
