JOAN re agression @ 5 ?

Yes, I have read the same thing about some males turning at age 5. Emphasis on some! Then again we know of Harry (can't remember age) and Caesar (at age 5). My baby boy is just turning five. So far so good *grin* Ummm, that tic/tac/toe incident on my back doesn't count--my fault. In hindsight, I've been wondering if he caught a glimpse of that iguana in the bathroom just as we entered the room (mirror)and that more than the idea of tubbing sparked his Tazmanian Devil impersonation. And I have to say that I can do a whole lot more with him than I can with the female as far as "messing" with sheds, toes, tail, mouth. But then again, he's never been thru 2 surgeries (spay/tail amp) like she has so he doesn't have the fear that she probably does.

Maybe you've hit the nail on the head with what's going on with iZ rather than it being kidney related. I was reading last night on the IML someone's question about covering the partiel eye to help with breeding agression. Don't want to put words in Melissa Kaplan's mouth--but I *believe* she suggested putting a piece of black electrical tape over the area for a short period to see if this would work with this particular iguana.
