If you can get dandelion greens in the store they're great in the regular diet. The ones in your yard are great also. They can eat the roots, leaves and flowers. Be sure that they have not been subject to any pesticides, fertilizers or chemicals of any kind.
I hold my husband back from doing anything with the dandelions in our yard for a while and I run around everyday and pick the leaves and flowers off for Sneakers. He just loves them.
