actually, iZ drank enormous, scary amounts of water but was *still* *severely* dehydrated ...
Pedialyte is better than water cuz it will actually help prevent dehydration more than plain water ... water just kinda goes thru you, pedialyte will work to replace electrolytes ...
Oranges!!!
iZ *loves* oranges and if yours likes 'em too, go for it! besides the extra fluids in them, my personal theory is that the acid in them will work to keep bacteria from 'sticking' in the bladder ... like drinking cranberry juice for bladder infections, same thing but iZ doesn't like cranberry juice ... i think the only negative aspect to oranges is that it may tend to make some igs mouth sore ... they've never bothered iZ that way tho ... and he is such a nut for oranges, that i can get him to eat when he wouldn't otherwise, by filling his salad up with lots o' tiny orange bits ... big chunks are also a great way to hide medincine!!!
