Advanced IML (looong!)

Hey all!

Not sure how to start, but here goes.....You all know that a while ago, a "new" iguana list was started, a sort of advanced one. Well, I joined it and had high hopes for it, but as it turns out, I feel that there is a lot of conflict of interest on the list; that it was mainly started as a competition thing with the IML, and the people who started it, well, let's just say there are ulterior motives there. :) I'm not bashing, I swear, because there is some neat stuff, but I merely wanted to explain why there is now *another* iguana list started up....

I decided that it would be really cool to have an "Advanced IML" list, that was started by someone who had no ulterior motives, nothing to lose or gain, someone who is objective and has no personal vendettas or enemies. So, I started an "AdvancedIML", in complete cooperation with the original IML. I'm just gonna cut and paste the description from the AdvancedIML main page to describe it, so I don't need to type so much! ;) Please check it out so see if it's your kinda thang!

An advanced iguana mailing list in cooperation with IguanaMail. This list is designed
for more in-depth and scientific discussions about green iguanas, as well as a place to
discuss unconventional and/or controversial ideas regarding iguanas and their
care. Medical discussions also very welcome. We strongly encourage different
opinions and views, based on scientific research and/or experience. Anecdotal
evidence as well as scientific research will be equally respected. Lively discussion is
encouraged, but personal attacks, flames, trolls or excessive sarcasm will not be
tolerated. Please be respectful in your differences. This list is for advanced
discussion only. It is assumed that those joining this list already have at least a basic
understanding of and experience with basic iguana care. All basic iguana questions
will be bounced to the original IguanaMail, where they will be more appropriate.

I'm hoping that this one will turn out a little better than the "other" one. COnsider this a personal invitation to all of you who want to be involved in advanced discussions, or just want to lurk and learn more!
