We live in mid Fla and ours get sunshine directly almost everyday for about 4-6hrs daily with a shady spot for them to thermo regulate themselves. We mist them often and they also have access to drinking water too.We find our kids jump in the pool too to help cool off, even our BDs swim and they're from the more arid climate.
Always supervise them at all times,,,they can get into trouble in a heartbeat.
