iZ has a couple of long tree limbs from the floor to his basking/bed shelves ... also made some climbing 'toys' using 2x2's and 1" plastic mesh ... i like BH's ladder idea! (but my hubby would prob'ly swipe it to use ... he IS Tim Taylor!) ... mebbe you could put the plastic mesh on the ladder if your ig is still smallish???
let's see ... we also have pieces of lattice attached to our walls in various places ... it's not *too* expensive ... iZ used to have an old macrame twine plant hanger to climb on when he was a bit smaller ... found it at a yard sale for 50 cents ... ummmm ... one of iZ's most favorite things to do in the summer (when the entire house is 90 degrees!) is climb up on my dresser ... i leave the drawers open a bit and he thinks it's great! of course, you can't have anything on top of the dresser if you're gonna do that! he also *really* likes to climb up the old bamboo blinds we have in the livingroom! that's another thing you might be able to pick up at a yard sale for cheap ...

pretty much tho ... igs are kinda like human kids ... you don't have to spend a whole lot of money to keep them amused! just gotta get creative ... oh! make sure that everything you set up is *secure*!!! make sure that the tree limb or fake tree won't come crashing down if your ig takes a flying leap at it (+ he will!) and stuff like that ...
