Always always use a cool mist hudifier! I bought our latest model at Walgreens ($30). Replacement filters run $8 each. We have to refill the water 2 times a day. Since we have a bedroom devoted to these critters, I can't advise you on whether or not to place the humidifer into the cage. Anyone?
