Go to any do it yerself home center....buy a cheapo wooden ladder (about $6 for a 5 foot)...buy two if you want nail a thick piece of plywood for a "shelf" on top and you got yourself a jungle gym for him, Ive seen people use rope ladders, those vinyl shade blinds (the roll up kind for outside) strategically placed, fake ficus trees for climbing, shelves laterally placed on walls. I used to use a 7 foot ladder for my female so she could climb up and down the top of my wall unit where I had her basking spot mounted to the wall. Majority of time she used it to climb up but used the side bookshelves to climb down...they are very skillful climbers! Improvise...maybe some netting attached to a window sill so he can get to it. Ive used parrot ladders when they were smaller then had to upgrade to human wooden ladders.
