Hi !
I give a thiny piece of bread to my iguanas also every day or two. They really go after the piece.
As bread contain milk/and egg I do not feed bread as regular food. Just for snack.
Food tip:
I have a tip for the basic iguana salad.
Put in some CURRY for taste and DRIED WHEAT SPROUTS for extra protein and good consistence (especially recommended if the basic salad like mine first has been frozen and then thawed).
And dont forget the kidney beans !.
Mirrors:
I agree you should be careful with mirrors and iguanas. But they are not always bad. For example: my two females (soon 5y) always has access to an mirror in my living room and when on the floor they like to watch themself every day with a little bobbing for extra self confidence or whatever?. My alfafemale Liz sometimes attacked the mirror but it was nothing to worry about.
