If someone had been making a video of this, I'd probably be rich thru one of those shows--either Funniest Videos or When Animals Attack *grin* Shoulda seen me on my knees with this huge iguana clinging to my back! I'm crying (yes!) and begging him to "please, please Thunder get off Mommy's back; you're hurting me" *sob* *sob* His talons went right thru my cotton shirt and then when he was doing the "Texas 2 step" on my back he was pulling it up and getting direct contact--that was the big owies *smile*
Julie, I know if bit by an ig to tell medical staff that they have the gram negative bacteria in their mouth. Don't know about ig scratches but I'm going to keep my fingers crossed that the Biaxin will take care of anything. But I will remain on the lookout for any outward signs of infection. Thanks for the info.
Gina, your adventures with Feo---I kept getting an image from the movie Alien *smile* But I DO know that had to hurt!!
Well, my loving family practically lined up to get a chance to swab my back and watch it bubble LOL LOL Decided to go another round with the hydrogen peroxide. He got my ENTIRE back so I was a bit hesitant to swab down with betadine. Hubby said it looks like Thunder was playing tic-tac-toe *grin*
Thanks for all the advice, kind thoughts and hugs!
glenda
(who solemnly vows to never take Thunder near a tub again)
