Keep in touch on how she's acting/feeling, okay? It may have simply been an off day for her but as others suggested she could also be hurting. (If only they could talk rather than whip!)

Cirsisue who posts here--her female *finally* developed eggs this year and I think she's six (forgive me Sue but I can't remember for sure). Some do it as young as 18 months. If he didn't do any blood panel (elevated Ca is sign of egging process beginning)or an x-ray (can see eggs forming), then you don't know for certain. However, if he's experienced then he could have just as easily *eyeballed* her and not seeing any suspicious bulges pronounced her egg-free.

There are signs that you can be on the lookout for re egging. You've probably already read about it so I won't bore you with it *grin* However, if she continues to act off, I would also vote for a trip back to the vet. Oh yes, almost forgot! Be sure to check and see if anything--could be the LEAST little thing--has changed around her environment--also could be something as simple as her not *approving* of your mom's attire or perfume, etc. etc.

Write back if you think of anything else and we'll all try to help you puzzle it out! Talk about creatures of mystery ;o)
