It's weird how our beloved dogs, who give us back so much joy, can sometimes take away something precious.
If you are planning to get another lizard in the future, i recommend a nile monitor, or something as large and tough.
A friend of mine has one, 7' long (!), who acts as the king of the household.
So sorry for your loss.
: Hey guys. This will probably be my final note on the forum. I haven't been here long but I have learned soo much from you all. This afternoon my 5 year old male green iguana "Iggy" Was outside in his summer cage basking in the sun when my golden retriever "Madison" broke into his cage and he was killed. There was nothing I could do since I did not find out about it until it is too late. Madison broke the door open and grabbed him out. He was burried in Stone Mountian State Park here in Georgia under a pine tree near a hiking path my dogs and I take.
: He will be truely missed. This is or you Iggy. I'll miss you buddy.
: Chuck
