iguanas usually poop in the wild near/in bodies of water. same goes for other lizards, such as WD's and some monitors.
"wetness" stimulates defecation.
I have an almost room-sized cage, where a container with baby-wipes is in a corner. I've trained Soni to poop there, since the wetness of the towels stimulate him to poop!
If your cage is big enough, you can train your ig to poop there too. Try water at first (luke-warm), then go for the towels. They're convenient for clean-up, and are cheap. In the bottom, i keep a CLOROX or LYSOL towel, for sterilization, and a baby wipes on top.
Good luck!
Ig Joe

: My iguana doesn't like to poop on his own...ever. He's been tested for worms/internal parasites. He's been this way for the three years I've had him. He'll hold it a week rather than poop in his cage. He will poop in the tub, but I'm a little concerned about him building up toxins in his body since I can't bathe him every day. Anyone have any ideas? His diet is different greens (collard, mustard, etc) and other veggies thrown in. And, no, he doesn't get as much free roam time as he needs. My rabbit doesn't like him....

: Thanks,
