I don't get bad behavior from Thunder after sunning. However, Goliath (our bearded dragon), definitely gets uppity after sunning. He'll push out his beard, turns it black and run open mouthed toward you. Maybe its just how much hormonal stuff is running that day? Don't know...but can attest to the fact that Goliath doesn't act that way from his UVB light but DOES from real sun.
