I got a very large(think:rhinocerous iguana size) green iguana a few months ago. My teacher works at an animal sanctuary and gave her to me because I have had many iguanas in the past and would be able to give her more individual care. She is living with my other iguana (4-5 feet long) in a large inclosure/cage in my yard.
Well, sorry for all that intro. The thing is, she had her tail cut off about five inches from her body before I got her. It is healing fine but I am not sure if she can grow it back because it was so close to her body. I have always been very careful with my other iguanas and have never had one break its tail. So can she grow hers back?I'd really appriciate some feed-back.
Thanks!
Rach
