If he's never been around one of these before, no matter if it is cold or warm, you might want to use it ONLY when you are there where you can check up on him periodically. If it is where he'll have access to it. Why? Because there have been reports of igs deciding to lay on them and/or knock them over. Once you can determine that he's going to leave it alone...
