WARNING 4 students or parents of students re floppy discs

: At my eldest son's high school you can purchase floppy discs and sometimes they have used ones in a "free" bin. He was going to use one of these this a.m. and accessed it to find that something was already on it.....so he ran it thru a virus scan. : SO GLAD he did! This disc had the virus "Perry" on it. His cautious actions saved our computer *grin* : Thought I'd post this for those of you who buy your discs at school and/or from unsealed boxes. For the safety of your computer, I'd advise running them thru a scan PRIOR to ever using them. : He'll be letting his school know what happened with this one on Monday and hopefully, they'll be able to find any more like it before some unsuspecting soul has a big problem. : glenda
