You should never, ever, EVER flick your iguana in the eye or rip off its tail!!!!!!! The idea of "training" your iguana is to make it get over its fear of you...abusing it won't be that great for your pet and owner relationship.
I suggest buying the biggest tank you can afford. (If the biggest tank you can afford is a 25 gallon tank, wait until you can afford bigger.)
Where did you hear about the part about flicking their eye balls and ripping their tails out?
