Like I said I often hear about
people having them show up in
thier backyards, especially when
they are along the water. From
the stories and descriptions they
sound like green iguanas to me which
leads me to believe they're escapees
or abandoned igs. The climate down
here is great for the most part for
igs. I, myself, have acquired my calif.
kingsnake by rescuing it from my neighbor's
laundry room. Not a FL animal, but again
an escapee or abandoned. So many people
get exotic pets and then don't care for
them, I would say they were probably just
let loose.
