Our cages are wire. I buy those cheap disposable tupperware type of containers and use those as food dishes. I take a pin and heat it up with a lighter, melt 2 holes close together on the side of the container and put a twist tie through it. I then twist the twist tie to the side fo the cage (the bowl sits on the shelf). It holds the bowl in place. Or you can simply feed your iguana at the bottom of the cage.
