It's funny how well that works! When my Ziggy was about 1 1/2 and just starting to try out bobbing, I bobbed my head at him - I thought his eyes were going to bulge out of his head. I don't know if it is the reason that he never challenges me, but he doesn't. And I have learned to communicate in whatever signals they are using, that I am the alpha in our house!
