In my experience with older male Ig's that for the most part were well potty trained and all of a sudden become messy by pooping all over the cages or anywhere. They have been sick. Except for my female that did this while she was gravid, and now has resumed to being a clean pooper again. My suggestion would be to have a qualified herp vet draw a blood sample to check the kidney or liver funtion.
