HI,
I recently installed a ventless thermostatically controled gas heater in my Ig's room. Previously I used an electric space heater which really was some what unsafe due to the amp draw and wiring on that circuit. The gas heater I bought is a small one, 5000-10000 BTU. So far, I've been pleased with the results. It has several safety features which should prevent problems. I keep the room at what ever temp I desire and the heater never has to be ran on the high setting. The cost was $189 and another $75 or so for installation materials.
