My boy Thunder will arch against my hand when being petted like a cat does and he's enjoying it...reason I know is because if I stop before HE is done he'll arch into my hand for more. If girl ig, Lightning, arches it's a toss up as to whether she is a)enjoying it OR b)had enuf better get that hand away from her. LOL Ummm, when arch is accompanied with a hiss it's time to move the hand *grin*
