Cheryl its just gonna be awhile....she's gotta get used to YOU being her caregiver! Establish a routine. Go slow. Talk to her or yourself she won't know! and we won't tell! Just so she gets used to your voice. Calm. When you do have to move her...use a large towel to toss over her...wrap her tail around the back of your waist with her back legs/hips secured with your elbow (decrease that whipping action)...If I were you I'd also wear gloves (I can't remember what kind they're called but they go long up the arm something like gauntlet gloves?)...she may figure out she can use her teeth too to get you away from her! Her cage is HER territory and YOU are a strange intruder! Its just gonna take time! Keep her misted, nice warm water for baths & pooping, reduce her photoperiods (more dark than light), Keep her diet high calcium she's gonna need it if she's egging! but taming...time & routine, and consistency. You might want to run a search on the archives here....and type in "taming" lots of ideas.
