Armed with Edward Scissorhands-style claws and tails powerful enough to crush a tin can, four of Taronga Zoo's seven newly hatched rhinoceros iguanas, part of 142 bred at the zoo since 1978, played innocent for the cameras yesterday.
Basking in the warmth of heat lamps and adulation, these Dominican Republic natives will soon by on their way to zoos around Australia.
