Here is a story of Zookie traning his Human.As you saw we built a new BIG safe cage for Zookie, and one bad time going up his ladder9 within the first 15 min in the cage ) and he won't leave his basking area.( we fixed the ladder by backing it )Well he was a week and no poop, eating but not like in his old cage. Looking in need of his litter box, I gave in and moved it up to his basking shelf last night. No poops this am, lots of splashes but no poop.Tonight's the night to decide if it is off to the Vets or prunes and as I was setting here reading the forum I heard a strange noise in the cage next to me and down the ladder comes Zookie over by me looks at me and looks at where his poop pan had been, I jumped right up ran over got it off the basking shelf moved him over put it in and before I could clean the upper area, he had made all those sounds that lets you know you have a big pan full and he was back up eating.Of couse I had fixed fresh greens.He moves north this Sat. Pray for our( all of us ) safe trip, it will be 5 to 6 hours of travel. Then he will have to adjust again, but at least he is taking his home with him and yes his blanket.Cathy
