Hi. I agree with everything you say iZ's mom, but in a way, I agree with the CDC for wanting to require pet stores to tell people about the salmonella concern. When we got Rex, we were told to wash our hands, but when I asked why, the guy said he didn't know. I didn't know about the salmonella thing until I hit the web. These stores that sell and ultimately make tons of money off the reptile ACCESSORIES (Lord knows they don't make much by selling the $9.99 iguana) should be required by law to inform people about the potential danger of the salmonella.
