Think I will not add the soil yet. She is showing very negative behaviour towards me.
I think she does not like my hands, I go to feed her, keep in mind she bit me last saturday, and she drops that delawp and cocks her head.
An awful evil look inher eye, I talk softly to her and whistle and try to let her know I will not hurt her.
Guess i am starting wirh square one again, that's okay I have patience and plenty of time.
Going to try the tee shirt in there also, someone mentioned this earlier. I have closed her off from the other critters, keeping door to the room where she is closed so she can fell more secure in cruising around .
I think if I tried to get her at this point I would get an even worse bite, gotta statr slow and work up to her stepping on my hand when she is ready.
As far as her lights, someone asked, I have a strip light that has three bulbs, two are incadescent day lights using these in conjuction with a ceramic heater as my apartment is not real warm. Then I switch the day lights off around 8 to 9 pm after being on 12 to 14 hours and put on the night bulb. I leaave the heater on but siummer is approaching here in Chicago.
As you know we have very hot humid summers so the heater will be turned off then. Lizzy just got through shedding her body, it was head, feet and then the rest.
I have a large pan of water for her to dip in and a small bowl for drinking. I mist her usually and she seems to like that, I talk softly to her and call her name and tell her how beautiful she is.
Man I sound like a real nut here, I am not though. Hey you gotta do whatever it takes.
