It is kind of disturbing to always hear about herps and salmonella, when it is not just about herps and their "completely irresponsables" and freaky owners... I'm not a freak and I'm probably more responsable than many people out there. And so the most of you probably are...

I do bath Zoe in the one and only bath we have in the house, than I scrub it and if I have to take a shower, well, I just get in and take my $%&$ shower! Common sense... I let my sister's children pet Zoe under supervision... They just have to carefully wash their hands after... Simple stuff... Couldn't agree more with you on that!

The problem is that we haven't finish yet to hear about herps and salmonella and herps whatever... 'Cause people are scared of what they don't know and people are also scared 'cause of many false beliefs. Most people don't know herps, in fact, most people are afraid of herps (even the tiniest one! You should have seen the face of some of my friends the first time they came at my house! C'mon! It's a 2 inches frog!! It won't attack you!!!!!!)
the problem is that scared people are the one starting false beliefs and scaring all the others...

I'm an optimistic person. I believe that, most of the time, people are dumb just because they don't know or understand something and I believe (What a fool! :oP) that by educating them, they will stop being scared.

Yeah! There's nothing wrong with herps... But sadly, it look like we have to show that to the rest of the world! Well, let show them, let educate them! I'm not gonna be stupid as some of them are! I'm ready to take the time for that. I'm ready to be seen as a freak until they understand. (I'm passing for a freak right now anyway!)

I'm tired too... But we have to live with that until WE can make a difference.

Rock and roll music was once seen like the devil's music... It isn't anymore...
Let them realize reptiles aren't the "devil's animals" they think they are...

PS: Numbers are just numbers, I agree with you... But as we have to make choices and decisions as a community, we are, in fact, dependant on them since a population cannot only go case-by-case... We can manipulate them... That's true... But I still think they can say something to us...
