ig proofing house

Hi everyone,

I have just begun letting Princess roam free in the apt. She's big enough to hold her own against Spike, my 5 lb chihuahua. They mostly just ignore eachother. However, after roaming around she usually winds up under my bed, under the desk, under the fridge, trying to squeeze under the couch, under anything!! Is she just curious, afraid, part mole, or what?? Is this common?? Will I have to just ig proof evrything she can get under? HELP!!
