Baby did this to me around the same age. It was a very fustrating time. He did it off and on for 2-3 months. The only thing that I could figure out that I was doing wrong was the way that I approached him. He did a lot better if I took the time for him to realize that I was there. I did this by talking to him for a minute before I took him out of his cage. It seemed to do the trick. I didn't have any more problems (except for breading season, which doesn't count LOL). good luck
