FINALLY...i just called the vet (I HAVE ONE WHO SPECIALIZES IN EXOTICS ACROSS THE STREET FROM ME) today and scheduled Merlin an appointment for tomorrow at 4. Tonight as i was in front of the computer (with her on my shoulder) she started getting antzy and jumped off onto my chair. She kept bobbing around and since i've only had her for a month or so i had no clue what she was doing. I stood up (LUCKILY) and next thing i know this HUGE gush of yellowish brown liquid comes pouring down RIGHT ON MY CHAIR!!!!! that was nearly 3 weeks worth of poop!!! What a mess....i cleaned it up...put her back in her cage...and now am typing this. SHe seems to be re-juvinated afterwards although wouldn't we all after being constipated for 3 weeks and finally getting it out. I tried everything....grapes, rubbing, soaking, exercise, xtra heat, but nothing worked. Tonight she just went on her own.
Matt
PS. Thanx everyone for your advice....
PPS. I fed her a dandelion this weekend and she ate it flower and all. They are supposed to eat them like that right??or am i just missing something when everyone talks about dandelion greens.
