Okay think I am on the right track now, have been reading so much to help me understand. I have checked Lizzy for sex, I see no indication of a male, therefore I am assuming my Lizzy is a girl. If she is close to two then maybe it is time for her to lay eggs. She is a lot more active, by this she is going to the bottom of the cage and scratching, an indication she is looking for somewhere to lay eggs?
Now if this is so I have to make a place suitable for her. That much I have grasped, so maybe she was very ticked off when I took her out cause she has no place to go and get situated for this procedure. Now she is my only Ig and I do not plan on having her mate, even though I know someone with a larger male. Her cage is meatl and wood, I covered three sides with plexi glass, for added warmth and more protection, this is on the outside and the fourth side is against a wall. I am not letting her roam until she is a little larger at this time I will set up lights heat etc in other areas.
Her cage is three feet all dimensions, will get a larger one very soon cause she is growing. At the moment she still has a lot of room, many branches and vines and bark for climbing are in there. Hope you guys are not sick of me yet as I am trying to do all I can for my Lizzy, I have gotten very attached to my little green baby.So I am off home after work to read even more and watch Lizzy closely for signs.
Thanks so much for all your input here it really does help. My finger is still hurting, quite a chunk missing.
