There is a local store here I've been meaning to send one to, but haven't got around to researching which one is best-- they constantly have igs in horrible shape-- no UVB and disease ridden (the last couple were surely going to die and they didn't seem to have a clue) I say something every time I'm in there but really don't ask later what happened because I know they died and it just breaks my heart.
The worst part is they don't really specialize in it-- so they just randomly get a few different reptiles in there-- and obviously hope they sell them before they die. But I've seen some reptiles stay in there for a long time because who is going to go to that pet store for an uncommon exotic-- you'd go to a store that specializes in them!
I figure I'll take them a care sheet-- check back to see if they are improving, and if not I may report them. The owner is nice but they just don't get it. I think they do care about the animals but are ignorant or don't have the money to spend on them (in which case they should stop selling them!)
