All (3) of the igs are just about the same age. Jeri was adopted from a home that got a much larger ig and couldn't keep the two. When they were all small, they shared the same cage. But as they grew older, they would start picking on each other - mostly head bobs and a few nips.
It took about 3 months to build the new enclosures for Jacki and Jeri. Jacki and Jeri are both 32 inches long and about 14 months old. Joey is 36 inches long, but a lot more husky than Jacki and Jeri - Joey weighs about 3 times as much. Joey and Jacki come from the same group from the same pet store - so I am guessing that their ages are the same.
The cost of materials for the two new enclosures ran about $1200.00 total, not including my time.
