if it is not due to trying to test you and see how far she can get, maybe it is due to her having eggs in her tummy. Don't have a female (sigh) but others here are having their girlie igs laying eggs right now. If her tummy is full of eggs, she may feel terribly uncomfortable having you pick her up. Does her tummy feel lumpy? Others here can help you with what to do if that is the case. If she is lumpy, just be very careful in picking her up as you can rupture an egg inside her.
