My ig, Soni, has a WHOLE room to himself.
It's supposed to be a guest-room, but when not in use (most of the year), it's his kingdom.
the room is 13'15', and it's the warmest of the whole house.
BUT, he actually lives in a custom-made plastic/wire cage, that is 8'tall X 8'wide X6'deep. it's made easy to assemble n' disassemble.
Everything in there is plastic, to make for easy cleaning/disinfecting/deodorizing.
Branches, rocks (those are real, but light enough!), and a small pool to drink/soak. he's potty-trained to poop in another bowl, with Baby Wipes as a layer, to stimulate pooping.
One Zoomed full-spect. and a heat lamp with tiemr, and a ceramic for nite.
ropes, fake flowers etc. for decor.
Natural Citrus Spray gives the room a nice smell when he's out, and ORANGE PEELS while he's inside.
Yup, Soni is an 'upt-town' kid, and when we have guests over, boy does he hate to room with us common mortals!
So, What do ya think?
Cool uh?
: Hi, I am new here, but I have an almost 2 year old ig, named Squiggy. Well anyway, Squiggy live in a big cage and it looks so boring inside. What do you put in your cages to spruce it up for looks and for your iguana? Squiggs has to big trees limbs, a rock, a food and water dish in his cage, and some green astro turf like stuff on the bottom....boring... What else could I put in it? The cage is made of wire and wood and sits in my room (takes up half my room...lol). Any suggestions would be appreciated!
: Thanks!
