The IG that I am now watching got something very similar her tail. It looked very yucky. When we took her to the vet he said that this could be from a number of reasons, ie wrong diet, wrong temps, not enough humidity.... Not knowing your set up - I am not saying that this is the problem. Just might be a good idea to review. We finally determined that Guanna's problem came from her knocking her tail into the glass of her cage. She could see her reflection and tried to get the other IG. LOL once we put news paper over the problem areas she stoped getting the lumps. Good luck
