My vet once told me that putting a bit of that "Second Skin" burn stuff dribbled lightly over stitches and let dry will keep the stitches mostly protected and help keep infection out. I've never used it, myself (never had stitches except on Bones' foot), but she's top notch, so I don't doubt that it would be safe. Just thot I'd let ya know!
P.S. So glad Cirsis is doing ok! No more eggie worries! Let us know the hormonal effects (if there are any). I'm interested to see if her demenor changes at all.
Best,
Jamie/Buggie

: Dan ...You & Sue sure are some terrific herpers! Glad everything went well. No climbing for her for awhile! and keep her sutures nice and dry (except 4 the polysporin). Even tho she's hungry..watch her for choking (effects of anesthesia) first couplea days. I'd keep her calcium supplementation going for about 30-60 days! Lots of head rubs! Good goin guys!
: Gina
