Tony, if you're having problems with them now, you'll definately have more, bigger problems later. Please check out this page that I linked to, this is a story of what happened to my Iguana Bones one careless day....we are still paying for it, us financially, Bones physically. Please, please get them apart before serious injury or death occurs. Please. If you don't, you'll surely wish you did later.
Best,
Jamie/JBug

: Tony...separate them ALL! Do NOT put Spaz w/ Iggy....especially since 1) you do not know Spaz' sex 2) Iggy has established dominion w/ HIS cage and the stress of a "new ig" in his territory will either stress him out or cause him to protect it and injure Spaz.
: Females can be aggressive but highly unlikely Spaz is a female. I think Spaz is male and perhaps Sherman is as well, unless this is just mating type aggression. Check their femoral pores easiest way to tell right! If Spaz & Sherman are both males they MUST be separated right away!
: Female +female ok, Female + male ok most times, male +male NEVER ok eventually there WILL be major bloodshed and vet bills!!!
: Put some betadine (povidine-iodine) over the injuries Sherman has sustained then any antibiotic ointment like neosporin or polysporin to prevent infection.
: There are several people here that do Iguana Rescue and have a wealth of information and resources for you so that you can adopt one out. Contacting a local Herpetological Society may be a source for you too Tony.
: Just to let you know that your situation is NOT unusual but typical....The male iguana I have was raised w/ his "brother" for almost 4 yrs before his owners had to "adopt him out" because he got too aggressive w/ his bro.
: Anyway....get them ALL separated somehow someway....and much luck to you!
: Gina
