Hello Ara. I wouldnt worry too much about the grasshopper that the ig ate today. It is important to keep them away from animal protien though. Animal protiens in an igs diet causes kidney and liver failure. I have a bearded dragon, and he eats crickets, among other things. When my ig is roaming, sometimes he will run into a fugitive cricket. He doesnt eat it though, he just looks at them, and keeps on walking. I was surprised. I am glad he doesnt chase em down and eat them. Gives me one less worry. Hope this helps. Yvette
