I have to assume that you are talking about collard or some other greens - I have many iguanas to feed and started by cutting out the stem, but then concidered that in the wild they don't get this stripped out. So, now I just cut off the stalk below the leafy green part then start chopping about .25" for the next few inches then space it out to 1-1.5" close to the top of the leaf. Good luck -
