We for the most part let our lizards free roam since we live in Fla and have tile floors.They taste everything ,in fact I'm a hair stylist and do hair cutting at home for son and friends,,,we we just have our sav go thru surgery and they found a lot of humon hair.Now we keep the floor clean and don't let them in there while I cut hair,,,but,,,well they still found hairball in his colon.We use indoor,outdoor short tight pile carpet for our cages and newspaper.
